Gonvow Bennett, Esq :— In reply to the many articles in the different journals, about the scarcity of the Croton water, had not the Board, whose duty it is to supply the citizens with water they pay for. and ought by rights to use as they sce fit, better stop the constant waste of water on their own part, by the censtruetion of a proper receiver to collect the water which is now wasted in sufficient force and quantity to turn any ordinary mill, and distribute the same to the ci‘izens?
