FIRES—AC CIDENTS—DEATHS, Bow, Ser, Ree Arrival of the Europa at Boston—The Ministerial Crisis in France, Bosrow, Oct. 29, 1851. The R. M. steamship Europa, reached her dock, at East Boston, at half past seven ¢’clock this evening. Her mails will leave here in the morning, and reach New York to-morrow afternoon. From the foreign papers at hand, we can gather little of interest, additional to the Halifax dispatch. ‘The Paris correspondent of the London Globe, under date of Thursday evening, 17th inst., says: “M. Bellault is spoken of as likely to be charged with the formation of the new cabinet; but it is certain that no decisive step will be taken until Louis Napoleon shall have com- pleted the draft of his message to the Assembly, so as to be able to submit it as his programme to the Persons whom he intends te invite to join his cabinet.” “ This mesesge,” says the Constitutionnel, “will propose the abrogation of the electoral law of 1850, and declare that, faithful to the cause of order, the President will never make apy concessions aren anarchy.” The Pen meylva: ia State Fair. Some cutlery exhibited by Hinsdale, of Connecticut, merits notice; it is large, complete, and beautiful. Every hotel in town is crowded to excess, and stran- gers are constantly arriving. ‘The Hon. Beveral daring robberies were committed on the dock last night. The counting houses of M. L. Hawley, H. 0. Cowing & Co, and F. W, Warren were entered, their safes opened, and, after their contents had been extract- ed,relecked. M.L. Hawley lost bills to the extent of upwerds of $2,500; F. W. Warren, $800; and Cowiug & Co., $200, The store of H. K. Plimpton, on Main street, was also entered, and the safe opened, but only $6 stolen, Mr. P. having taken home upwards of $2,(00 on the pre- vious evening. ‘The safes, with one exception, were Gay- ler's patemt. From Utica, COUNTERYEIT MONEY FOUND— CANAL BOAT SUNK, ETC. Unica, Oot. 29—7 P.M, A bundle of counterfeit money, amounting to $392, was found in one of the cars at the depot to-day. They were three dollar bills en the Essex County Bank, and not described in the Detector. A boat, loaded with staves, sunk, to-day, one mile west of Utica, The boat is insured for $400 in the Etna Com- pany cf Utica ‘The amount of the city tax of Utics, for 1851, is 27 £46 22, Gen. Burroughs’ Mansion Burned. Mevina, N. ¥., Oct, 29, 1861 The elegant mansion ef the Hon. 8 M. Burroughs, near this place, was discovered to be on fire this morn irg about two o'clock, and the infericr of the building is now a complete ruin. The furniture was much damaged, ard the loss is over $6,000. The building is insured fr $4coo. Monument to Revolutionary Heroes. Acrox, Mass., Oct, 29, 1851, The completion of a monumeny to the memory of Davis, Hosmer and Hayward, who fell at Concord Bridge, on the 10th of April, 1775, was celebrated in this town, to- day, with imporiog ceremonies, An address was dell- vered by Governor Boutwell, and speeches were made by the Hon. R. C. Winthrop, Hon. M. Thompson, of Charles- ton, Hon. Kobt. Rantoul, and others. A poem was also delivered by the Rev. John Pierpoint. About thirteen hundred persons dined together, under a mamm th tent A battalion of military were present, under Col Jones, Interesting Marine Intelligence. SAILING OF THE AMERICA—SCHOONER ASHORE, ETC. Boston, Oct. 29, 1851. ‘The royal mail steamship America, Capt. Shannon, sailed at noon to-day for Liverpool, via Halifax. She took out $160,000 in American gold, twenty-throe pas- sengers for the former place, and fourteen for the latter. The following is alist of her vor Livenroor.—C. M. Gertie, C. R. Morton, hed. Florence. Willia ‘The schooner V! tage, hence for Albany, is ashore in Nantucket harbor, and has lost her anchor, cable and boats. The ship John M. Mayo, hence for New York, was towed into Holmes’ llole yesterday, with the loss of main and mizen masts. She will be towed to New York to-day. LOSS OF THE BARK RUTH. Cnancestos, Oct, 28, 1861. ‘The bark Susan, from Rio Janeiro via Pernambuco (thirty-five days from the latter pert,) reports that the berk Ruth, from Baltimore for Rio, was lost off Pata- gonia, near Cape St. Roque, about the middle of Sep- tember. THE VIRGINIA ELECTION—MURDERER CONVICTED— EMANCIPATED NEG@ROES— VIOLENT STORM—DEATE OF MRS. GOV. UJHAZY, ETC. Bactimong, Oct. 29, 1851. The election of Mr. Thompson, dem, in the fifteenth district of Virginia, in place of Mr. Haymond, whig, is not yet certain. John Foreman (colored) was convicted, in the Balti- more City Court, to-day, of murder in the second degree, for killing George W. Rusk (white), butcher. Thirty-five emancipated negroes from Virginia, arrived at Baltimore to-day, to sail in the Liberia packet of the first. A violent storm raged at Wilmington on Monday, and the Charleston boat was unable to cross. Major Tochman received # letter to-day, aunouncing the death of Governor Ujhasy’s wife, at New Buda, Iowa, Dr. Kinkel addressed a large German meeting at Wheeling, on Saturday night. No mail, south of Wilmington, reached Baltimore to- night. From Boston. THE SHADRACH RESCUE CASE—MONETARY MATTERS. Boson, Oct. 20, 1851. Richard H. Dana, counsel for Robert Morris (colored), lawyer, indicted in the Shadrach rescue case, applied to the District Court, this afternoon, for a special writ, to have the case of his client trausferred from the District to the Circuit Court. The answer to this application will be given to-morrow. The money market, generally, is unchanged, with a little better demand on call. Stocks are heavy, and lower. ————— City Intelligence.
