The vote in favor of the new Constitution for the Btate, has been almost unanimous. FIRST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT. In this distriot, Samuel Milson, democrat, is elected by & very large majority over L. C. W. Cowper, whig. SeCOND DisrRiCT. R. K. Meade, democrat. had no opposition im this dis trict, and is of course re-elected. SIXTH DiSTRIOT. John M. Botts, whig, has been defeated in this (the Richmond) district, by John 8. Oaskie, democrat. The latest returns show that Judge Caskie’s majority is very large. MINTH DisTRICT. In the Loudoun or Ninth district, J. F. Strother, whig, | is elected over J. Morton, the late whig incumbent, by a | heavy vote. There was no democratic candidate in this | dirtrict. TENTH DIsTRICT. | Charies J. Faulkner, the independent whig candidate in the Tenth district, has undoubtedly been elected to Congress over Henry Bedinger, democrat.
