The stock at Liverpool was very light, but there had been no advance in prices during the week. Provisions have undergone no material change during | the week. For beef there was no improvement. Sales continued very small, and prices, except for the finest qualities, have been move in favor of the buyer. Amuri- can pork was fearce, aud dealers have been supplying their wants with Irish and continental. Of bacon, ths mierket was nearly cleared, and n° transactions are re- ported, Hams and shoulders continued dull there daing only a retail demand. Lard bad improved in price, and rales bave been made at 603 8528 per ewt. There was but aemall stock in market.
