Laft Friday fea'night, the 23d inftant, arrived at Phiiade'phia, capt. Wright, from Fyall, who brings advice, that the Ruby tranfport, capt. Kelly, from St. Jonn’s for St. Maloes, with 310 of its inhabitants on board, was by f{trels of weather, drove on the ifland of Pico, and loft, when about 200 of the French perithed. This is the 3d or 4th tranfport bound home from that place and Cape Breton, that have either foundered at fea, or been caft away, when numbers of the French perifhed at each difafler.
