Maguire had attacked and made himfelf Mafter o®he important Poft of Hirfurfield, in Upper: Lufatia, which was guard- ed by a Battalion of the Regiment of Prince Henry of Pruffia. This Attack was made in three different Pla- ces. Lieut. Col. Laudon, at the Head of a Company of Licanians, 200 Croats, and 300 Men from the Re-* giments of Guilay and Forgatfch, fupported by a Squa- dron of Huflars, commanded by Col. Mitrowiky, made an Affault on the Redoubt which covered the Bridge of that Place, where he found two Pieces of Cannon. The fecond Attack was made by Prince Charles de Lichtenftein, who had under his Command 200 Dra- goons, and 3 Companies of the Regiments of Sprecher, Guilay and Stahrenberg, fuftained by 300 Croats, com- manded by Col. Klefeld, and was directed againft the Grand- Bridge, which had an immediate Communica-, tion with the City.
