1. Y. C. A PLANNING GIRLY' REST ROOM To Be Located in New Leonard Building Plans are under formation by the officials of the Y. W. C. A. for the .establishment of a girls' fest room ' building on Main strect to be located in the new Leonard The pro- posed room will be open to all girls in the city. Although the proposi- tion has not been placed before the official board for approval, it is ex- pected that the idea will meet with favor. It is planned to open the reom within a month. The membership rally and the 18th birthday celebration of the founding of the Y. W. C. A. in New Britain held last evening in the gym. nasium at the Y. W. C. A. was a decided success and was attended by & large gathering. The membership and educational committees acted as hostesses. Following a supper at 6:30 o’clock & play and butterfly dance was pre- sented. Miss Ruth Rheldon was the main speaker of the evening and spoke on the toplc, - “Internationai Relations.” 8he dealt mainly on the Bouth American countries and ex- plained the feeling that the people of those countries have towards America. Miss Sheldon said that the South Americans did not under- stand America and had the idea that this universe was always looking out for its pwn interest at their expense.
