EASTERN STAR OFFIGER DIES Mrs. Mary Flood of Greenwich Prominent in Ledge Greenwich, Dec. 14 (#—Mrs. Mary | Fowler Flood, who was the Ruth in | the local chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and was stricken with ‘apoplexy on the evening of the offi. cial visitation to the chapter of the grand lodge officers, died at her home in Orchard Place today. That night ore of the visiting grand lodge officers served in Mrs. Flood's place as she had been taken home. The funeral will be on Thursday afternoon from the Masonic temple ‘here and the chapter will have a service and the Rev. Frank A. Hos- mer of the Presbyterian church will officlate. Mrs. Flood was the wife of Eu- gene E. Flood and was well known not only in the Eastern Star as an officer, but in other rganizations. She leaves three sons, Myron, Eu- gene and Kenneth snd three sisters, Miss Mildred Towler and Mrs. Harry Hitchcock of New Haven, and Mrs. Nettie Bowers of Springfield, Mass.
