The mountains were reproduced from photographs of a, range in South America. On the side of a moun- tain was seen also an engineer's shack, and later a church and gar- dens. The drawings were made by Laurence Hitt, studio art director, and the mountains were painted by Willlam Saulter, scenic department chief.
