Aug. 6—Ex- ports of American brass and bronze were higher in June than in any of the three preceding months ex- cept April. During all of this pe- viod there was vacillation upward nd downward. June exports of these products inted to $1,075,107, as against 4952 for May, $1,174,491 for April, and $1,070,131 for March. Ingots and scrap brass and bronza continued to lead in the value of the exported products, with pipe fittings and valves leading in the group of manufactured articles. Statistics collected by the United | States department of commerce for June show the following values for exports of brass and bronze: In- gots, scrap a old brass and bronze, $331,7 bars and rods, $40,428; plates and sheets, $26,- 495: pipes and tubes, $84,660; pipe fittings and valves, $130,732; hard- ware of brass and bronze, $60,446; plumber’s brass goods, wire of brass and bronze, 34; other brass and bronze manufac- tures, $338,530.
