Scenes of splendor vie with scenes of unusual thrills for interest in “The Phantom of the Opera.” Chaney of course, is the outstand- ing performer in this drama and his character work is so wonderful that it becomes real. Mary Philbin, the nger, plays her part 1l and Kerry proves a handsome, dashing leading man. Wonderful settings enhance the production, not the least of which is the Paris opera house. This is a picture once seen, s never forgotten.
