Bottle of Hooch in Mand |¢ After denying that she sold lquor to Mike Panuscenvscz last night at | her home, 885 Main sireet, in the rear of Hotel York, Mary Kurde was put on probation and her ¢ continued for two weeks in polic court today. She was arrested la niglt by Officer Thomas J. Feene who alleges that she sold Pana- soenescz two bottles of liquor for $1. Officer Feeney said that he was going to Mrs. Kurdezyk's house to notity ons of her children to be in | juvenile court this morning and that he found the door locked. When he was allowed to enter the house he claimed that he saw Panascenescz drinking some liquor and he alleges ‘ that Mrs. Kurdesyk was a!zrmm\nu to empty liquor into the sink. Feeney savs that there has been sev- eral complaints about her in the| past. Panascenescz stated that he asked Mrs. Kurdezyk for some liquor and she went out to purchase it for him. He said he paid $1 for two bottles. Mrs. Kurdezyk became somewhat confused on how many bottles n'f Hquor she sold the man. At first she | wmid two and then later claimed she only sold him one bottle. She de- nied that she sold him any liquor but says he asked her for some and she went out to purchase some for him. 8he alleges that she got {t from a 16 r-old boy who, she says, s0ld her liquor twice. She was charged with purchasing whiskey in a milk bottle, hut denied tt.
