Y., Sept. 25 (F)—A ver- dict of gnilty of murder in the first degree was returned today by the jury trying Mike Kosmowskl of Darien Center for the murder of 19 year-old Mildred Durkee of Hornell. The girl was shot twice and killed while riding in an automobile with Kosmowskl in a busy downtown street July 17. Her body was found 15 miles from the city in the Werk- loy woods where her murderer had driven after the shooting, her limp hody sitting upright in the automo- bite with the driver's arm ahout her.
