F¥or Spine, 6—~8wing the arms in a circle in front of the body, keeping the knees stiff and stretching upwards as far as poasible while raising arms. For Liver, 7—Feet apart as far as possible— keeping knees stiff, —bend body from slde to side; raising arms alternately over the head. 8—Gladstonian exercise. Lying Down Exercise ~ For Stomach and Intestines. 9—Arms at side—raise chin to chest and push hands along the limbs; vice versa., 10—Throw body to sitting position, keeping hips, knees and feet on floor. 11—Draw both kees back to chest and return to floor. | 12—Raise both legs from the floor at the same time, keeping knees stiff. In closing his talks he said that one would be greatly aided by being . attentive to the following important suggestions: 1—Drink .plenty of water in be- :wun meals, Eight to ten glasses per . day. 2—Get into the habit of following the exercises with cool or cold bath. It one has plenty of blood a cold bath 15 best, otherwise only take a (Gool bath after exercises. 8—The best time to take thess ex. ercises is upon arising in the morn- ing. However, they can bs taken the * last thing before going to bed at night or during the day, but not immediate- ly following any meal. 4—If you have any suspicion that your heart {8 not in good condition, before taking these exercises you should be examtned by your family phpsiclan and follow his advice as to the way in which these exerclsos should be taken. 5—Remember that the only way to test the value of thess exercises is to follow them regularly every day for about two months.
