An open meeting of the Mother- hood’ club of Berlin will be heid on Tuesday evening of next week in the community house at 8 o'clock, to which representatives from all parts of the town have been invited, as well as teachers in the various schools throughout the town of Berlin. Miss Esther Donahue; head of the Junior Achievement work in New England, will bring a demonstration team of boys and girls and will also have some of the completed articles made by Junior Achievement workers on exhibition. Miss Donahue will speak on the subject of “Salvaging the out-of- school hours by organizing achieve- ment clubs”" After the program a soclal time will be enjoyed. This demonstration and talk prom- ises to be of interest to Berlinites, as it has been the” opinion of many townspeople that a Junior Achieve- ment club ghould be organized in this town. Bull attended her and reduced the fracture. Mrs, Smith will be taken to Dr. Paul Swett in Hartford this afternoon for an X-ray, The accident occurred in a peculiar nanner. Mrs, Smith mistook a door cading to the cellar for one leading to a room she was about to enter.
