Peking, June 17—While the troops of Gen. Chen Chiung-Ming had cap- tured the city of Canton capital of the South China republic, the body guard of President Sun Yat-Sen still fought from the presidential palace, according to a despatch from Canton filed at four o'clock yesterday after- noon.
