For more than an hour the flames kept the firemen busy. The fire was confined to the rear rooms, and the back veranda. It was while going over the place later, that the firemen came across the “moonshine still.”” Investigation showed that Gryzenia is the owner of the house next door as well as the one in which the fire oc- curred, and that he rented the room, where the still was found, from a ten- ant. During the fire, Gryzenia re- ceived painful burns about the hands, and was taken to the New Britain general hospital for treatment. A bankbook and some trinklets owned by Gryzenia were found in the room later and were taken in charge by Chief Noble. * MANY SEEKING TICKETS Two Long Lines Waiting in New Ha- ven When Yale-West Point Paste- boards Go On Sale This Morning, New Haven, Oct. 18.—Before the Yale offices opened at 8 o’clock this morning for public sale of tickets for the Army game Saturday stood two long lines of both men and women, Tickets also had been sent to several cities in the state to secure distribu- tion and it was expected that with a limitation of two per person nearly ev- ery one who wished to see this game could be accommodated.
