Boston, Dec. 2.—After four years of liberty under bdnds, Jacob Smaller, Israel Leventhal, Jacob Leventhal, Simon Levine and Samuel Lishner, who were convicted as members of the arson trust that fired buildings in this city in 1916 to gain insurance money were ordered to begin service of prison sentences when the su- preme court overruled their excep- tions today. Washington, Dec. —Immigration would practically he suspended for two years under a bill submitted to the house immigration committee tod by its chairman, Representative Johnson of Washington. The measure would permit the admission only of blood relatives of citizens or aliens who have declared their intention af becoming naturalized and the entry for a period of not more than months af travelers and of “otherwise dmissible” aliens from Canada, New- foundland, Cuba and Mexico.
