Rio de Janeiro, July 9.—The min- ister of agriculture has sent to the governors of the various states a cir- cular letter requesting that they re- spond to the appeal of the people of the former Central Powers to the Brazilian people for food supplies. A commission for the relief of Germany and Austria has been organized in this city with representatives in all the states of Brazil.
