Klingberg, founders of the Children’s Home, will bé tendered a reception tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Swed- ish Baptist church on Elm street in honor of the twelfth anniversary of the establishment of the Home. All interested in the Home are invited to attend. The plans for the recep- tion are in the hands of the children. It was on May 22, 1903, that Mr. Klingberg received into his home three little orphan boys and gave them a father's care. This was the small beginning from which has grown the Children’s Home, which is now caring for 118 children in five houses. Many other children who are not now en- fled have come and gone since the ndation of the institution. All through. these years there have been no funds for rainy days, but Mr, Klingberg has the greatest faith in the efficacy of prayer and in respoase to his appeals money has been forth- coming so that he might carry on his noble work. Mr. and Mré, Klingberg give their whole hearts to the chil- dren's welfare and their littls wards love them for it and appreciate their efforts. As Mr. Klingberg has been ‘| out of town during the week the chil- dren are planning the reception in the form of a surprise, ‘L City ltems Women's pumps, $2.00 to $4.00, at Besse-Leland's.—advt.
