Villa and His Aid Fierro: Accused of Juarez, Mexico, April 9.—Major Rudolfo Fierro of General Villa's staff to be executed as the result of an Investigation by a commission ap- pointed by General Venustiano Car- anza into the killing of Willlam S. Benton on February 17. This was nnounced here, together with a atement that the report of the com- ission’s finding is practically com- lete. The statements in the report ere communicated to General Car- anza and also to General H. L. Scott, Killing Benton recently appointed assistant chief of staff of the United States army. Major Fierro is now in the penitentiary in Chthuahua city, He has been relieved of his command in the rebel army, stripped of his rank and is being held incommunicado by General Villa’s or- ders. The report of the Carranza commission claims that Fierro shot and killed Benton from behind while on a railroad train.
