H. D. Palmer, Orlando; 1. 8. Floyd, Bartow; C. 8. Wooten, Lakeland, ang Wm. Schlagel, of Winter Ilaven, werp all registered at the Graystone sunday. Mr. Wooten was particu- larly pleased with the condition ol the city, dnd there is one thing about the Lakeland man and that is, ne matter how much he may think of his own fair city he does not hesi- taty to give praise where praise is due, and that was the case in Kis- simmee.—Kissimmee Journal. It is undoratoud that J. W. Kim- | brough has bougkt all the vacant lots | back of the Bryant building and ucrth of the Tremont hotel, on Main street . and Massachusetts avenue. This is one of the most valuable pleces of business realty in the city. The price paid was in the neighbor- hood of $20,000. This property, we understand will be cut up into five business lots, which will be placed cn the market, and the buildings to be erected thereon will add greatly to | the city's development. Until the present this property could not be had for any consideration. Mr. Kim- brough will advertise these lots in this paper. He says it pays to ad- vertise in the Telegram. Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Mulquin left to- day for Scranton, Pa., where they go 12> make their future home, Mr. Mul- quin having accepted a position there with the Lackawana and Westera railroad as night chief dispatcher. Mr. Mulquin has made Lakeland his home for a number of years, and with hie interesting family will be greatly riissed, but their many friends trust that their lines will always be cast in pleasant places, and that they may some time in the future decide to make Lakeland their home again. As stated in these columns a few days ago, Mr. John 0'Donald has taken the potition of chief dispatcher here, the place made vacant by Mr. Mulquin’s resignation. cpgde i (EDISONIA) THE LADIES’ AND CHILDRENS’ THEATRE THE MERCHANT MAYOR OF IN- DIANAPOLIS.
