(#—Wilcom’s Inn, which has been so myster- jously tempting to would-be rob- bers over recent years, has been invaded for the 11th time. And once again, owner Charles F. Wilcom and his three sons, who get plenty of practice at the game of catching crooks, made a capture. Wilcom told police yesterday he and his boys caught one man com- ing out of the establishment early Monday, but that two others got @way with 20 cartons of cigarettes, some change and three antique muskets Wilcom valued at $325. Before Monday’s exploit, the family trapped three men inside the inn and nabbed all three, wounding one seriously with shot- gun pellets. And before that they apprehended six’ burglars in two eatches. One of them was wounded and died later while awaiting trial. Turned over to police after this week’s attempt was a man identi- fied as Frederick Deloy Fields of Portsmouth, Ohio, zs MORE BORN IN FLA. The State Board of Health reported 45,526 births and 18243 deaths through July compared to 48,159 births and 18,297 deaths in the 1953 period.
