Convict’s Home Auctioned Off LOS ANGELES —Mickey Co- hen’s Brentwood home goes up for auction teday—to pay off a $50,000 bond on a henchman who disap- peared. Cohen himself is now at McNeil Island Penitentiary serving a five- year term on an income tax eva- sion conviction. He put the home up for collateral on a bond guaran- e3ing the appearance in court of Frank Niccoli on a conspiracy charge—and Niccoli, hasn’t -been seen since. A bail bondsmen fore- closed on it to pay the bond. At the time, when he was lead- ing underworld figure, Cohen esti- mated the home’s value at $80,000. It had bullets fired into it, and once was damaged by a dynamite blast, despite an elaborate electric- eye warning system Cohen had installed. Rovnanek. The 48-year-old neuro-surgeon and his 26-year-old bride were mar- ried last night by Bishop Austin Pardue of the Pittsburgh Episcopal Diocese, only two hours after se- . jeuring their license. The usual three-day waiting period was waived. Dr. Rovnanek, a native of Czech- oslovakia, is in her second year as a resident pediatrician at Chil- dren’s Hospital. Dr. Lindstrom has been chief of neuro-surgery at the Veterans Administration Hospital in suburban Aspinwall.
