The New Year’s Day “At Home” is the beginning of a busy social schedule ahead for the Towners who will entertain at the first of a seriessof dinners and receptions for ranking Naval officers on the evening of Wednesday, January 13th, when Admiral Lynde D. Mc- Chief Atlantic Fleet, and Mrs, Mc- Cormick will arrive here to attend new Fleet Sonar School on the fol- lowing day. Following a reception for their guests at Echoasis, the Towners will take the MeCormicks to Quar- ters A with a few close friends ind ranking guests. 4 A reception is scheduled the next day at the Fleet Sonar School li- brary immediately following the commissioning ceremonies, Co- hosting. the reception will be Ad- miral Towner and Fleet.
