Among the biographical facts re- leased by the Navy about the seven men are the following: EARL MOODY Prior to joining HS-1, Moody was stationed at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola. Before entering the Naval Ser- vice, Moody graduated from Elli- son Ridge High School and thence began eight years of College, and the University of Mississippi. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Moody of Route 6, Louis- ville, Mississippi. RICHARD L. LEFFINGWELL Leffingwell. previously was at- tached also to the Naval Air Sta- tion in Pensacola. Prior to entering the Naval Ser- vice, Leffingwell graduated from Gonzales High School. in Gonza- les, California and attended the University of California at Santa} Barbara, California. He distin- guished himself in sports by win- ning numerous athletic letters in track and football in high school as well as in college. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. STANLEY H. BECKER Becker had previously been sta- tioned at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola.
