Three membe of the commission returned terday from a meeting in Jack- sonville with the newly formed ferry corporation. Information ob- tained at that session will be pre- sented and considered at to- night's session. The commissioners are also ex- pected to hear Milton W. Blan- ton, engineer and economist with the Housing and Home Finance Agency in Atlanta, discuss the results of his two day survey of low cost housing in Key West and problems related to the fin- ancing of the improvements to | the city’s outmoded sewer sys- tem. The city’s request for funds for the badly needed sewer re- novations, is currently under con- sideration in Washington. J. “Jim” Wilder, Jr., 31-year-old Florida State Highway Patrolman, has been chosen by the Key West Junior Chamber of Commerce as Monroe County’s Out+ standing Law Enforcement Officer for 1952. The award was made to the ex-Marine and veteran of three years of service with the state patrol at a dinner meeting of the group last night in their Flagler Avenue clubhouse.
