KEY WEST Apprentice Group Reports For Duty At Naval Station Five seamen apprentice report- ed recently to the Key West Naval Station for duty. They are Eddie P. Gilmore, Kenneth L. Lian, Ray- mond N. Shurtleff, Dale L. Griffin and Thomas J. Grillo, Jr. Gilmore, son of Mrs. and Mrs. | George F. Gilmore of Rt. 7, Hat- tiesburg, Miss. was graduated from Hattiesburg High School in 1952. He entered the Navy in August of this year, received recruit train- ing at Bainbridge, Md.-and pro- ceeded to Key West duty in the Ordinance dept. Lian entered Naval service in July of this year and received boot training at Great Lakes, Ill. He has been. assigned to duty board the floating drydock. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lian reside, at 704-15th Ave., SE Minneapolis, Minnesota. Shurtleff completed initial train- ing at Great Lakes, Ill, in Octo- ber of this year, was transferred to Key West and assigned to the floating drydock. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E.
