The pastor of the First Meth- odist Church, the Rev. J. Paul Touchton, has announced that his messages dur'ng the month of November will be built around the general theme of Thanksgiving. Perhaps one of the worst sins of these times is the sin of in- gratitude, No age and people have known a richer period than has this present age, yet one wonders if the ancient Hebrews working a bare existence out of the barren hills of Galilee and Judea did not have a deeper sense of gratitude than do some of our modern people living in ease and comfort, The communion meditation at the Old Stone Church will be entitled “Thank God For Fellow- ship.” The topic for the Sunday evening worship sermon will be “Thank God For The Church.” David Moody will be the guest organist. e CHURCH of CHRIST M,.
