Burned-Out Navy Couple Need Donations Fleet Reserve Seeks Aid For Key Wester Biaza, Pregnant Wife Made Destitute In: Fire’Thurs. By SUSAN McAVOY The fire that swept their apart- ment at Poinciana Thursday, has left the Bernard Biaza’s complete- ly destitute of household furniture and equipment. Key Wester Biaza, EM-1, Sur- ASDevDet, and his three-months’ pregnant wife one minute were rich with for their coming family life. next minute the young couple who married Decem- ber pend had only the clothes they wus. Biaza, badly shaken by the fire, was taken to the hospital. Bernard who has nine years of Naval service set about trying to start a new household. First they were provided with a new apartment in Poinciana. They are grateful for that, but they have nothing to sit on, sleep in, nor have they silver, linen,- dishes-all were destroyed in Thurs- day’s fire. In addition Biaza lost $2,000 in radio equipment which was his own. The Fleet Reserve Association is asking for donations of usuable furniture, household gear including pots, pans, dishes, or money by merchants, and Key Westers, Navy and civilian personnel.
