Today’s Stock NEW YORK (# — The railroads put some life into the stock market | | Market ———— today and provided the base for a} moderate advance. Gains extended from fractions * to betyeen one and two points with a few higher priced oils pushed well beyond that limit. Along with the railroads, good ad- vances were shown in aircrafts, oils, coppers, rubbers, cham- fcals and merchandizing issues. Other areas of the market were steady or narrowly mixed. Among higher stocks were Sea- board Air Line Railroad, G@entral, Texas Co., Bethlehem Steel, Goodyear, American Smelt ing, American Cyanamid and Douglas Aircraft. Stocks on the Curb Exchange heid steady. On the higher side were Illinois Zinc, Molybdenum American Hard Rubber and God- | chaux Sugars “B.” Corporate bonds were quiet and steady. U.
