E, Parnell, Jr., are grateful to God and the Coast Guard for their rescue by the CG Juniper 360 miles from here after a 44 hour vigil clinging to a homemade life raft in the Gulf of Mexico. The handsome boys, barefoot and in denims were wearing the shirts that protected them during their 44 hours on the raft after the shriinpboat ‘Parnell’ had to be abandoned Friday afternoon. Parnell, 17 year old Columbus Lowe, and 18 year old Robert J Reese turned to prayer and their Marine Bible at 3 on Friday af. ternoon.
