Let’s Face It GEORGE M. RAY As a rule the spiritual level of any home seeps to the surface through the children. The tenor| of the home is evidenced by the way our children act outside the home. What they get at home finds its way to the school room,/ the playground, and at church. That's why the Master exhorted us to “train up a child in the way he should go, and he will never! depart from it.” We laugh about| the things our children tell to others about us. And, some things they relate are funny. But down deep we realize something serious about it all. They ere simply re- flectors of what goes on inside the home. They are not only carriers of tales, but carriers of character. TF oday Anniversaries 1724—Gabriel historic Virginia pioneer circuit-riding lawyer, born near Williamsburg Died.
