Marshall, Key West artist, has just been awarded a commission to paint a mural, 62 feet long and 19 inches high, in the lobby of the new office building now being erected for the Ohio State Journal, Ohio. duction of a newspaper from pulpwood to the reading public. Marshall is now working on sketches. The mural, will be painted on canvas in oils. The work will be done in Key West and shipped to Columbus for placement. In addition to this mural, Mar- shall will paint a mural on glass, eight by five feet, which will be a tropical scene. This will be in- stalled in the executive's dining room. It will be illuminated to get the effect of looking through a@ window at a tropic setting. Marshall was chosen to paint these murals on the strength of his local mural work which was seen by Walter J. Reck, general manager of the Ohio State Jour- yal, when he was vacationing in Key West a few weeks ago. Marshall studied art in Eng- land, and has er a.
