PAGE F OUR - Navy Wives See Silk Articles Jane Walgamott, a representa- tive of a silk products company, appeared yesterday “before the La Concha Navy Wives Club and began a series of programs to aid the organization in judging all the articles sold in Key West. Mrs. Walgamott had _ several articles of the company she rep- resents to show the club mem- bers for style and quality. Fred E. Knight's collection of rare German stamps were view- ed. Each stamp was explained with a history or interesting story. Knight acquired several of these stamps while serving in Germany in World War II. He fis a member of ‘the Key wet Philatilest Club. Tentative plans were discuss- | ed for the Labor Day. progr ‘The club plans to sponsor sev booths. A motif for a float was | also discussed. Plans for a membership drive were further- | ed, but will be announced at a later date. Grady farm near Har- per’s Ferry, believed to be one of the biggest barns in that northeast Iowa area. A planing mill as well as a saw mill were moved onto the place to prepare the lum- ber for the structure which measured 100 feet by 36 feet. | The basement is concrete blocks.
