BY Sealed Beam Head Lamp borough said today, when Lewis’ counsel admitted that he had not complied with a court order on November 15 to halt the threat- ened coal strike. Judge Goldsborough made an- other decision, still more impor- tant, against Lewis. His battery of 10 attorneys had been arguing that the Norris-LaGuardia anti- injunction act was applicable to the government also, but the court ruled otherwise. That decision cut short by a day and a half, it was estimated, the argument of counsel. It was while the argument was in pro- gress that Judge Goldsborough declared that, according to the Norris-LaGuardia act, the gov- ernment could not be enjoined in a matter of national necessity and threatened national disaster, as the continuance of the coal strike would be, economically One of Lewis’ attorneys tried to make a point in the supposed difference between civil and criminal contempt of court, and Judge Goldsborough remarked that if the attorney knew what the difference was and could ex- plain it specifically, then he would be the first lawyer, on or off the bench, who has been able to do so. Jury trial of Lewis on the con- tempt chafge will begin tomeor- row morning. + F enremanemeenall CHRISTMAS cu, 21 Shopping Days Away See Our Xmas Gift Selection Before You Buy GIFTS GALORE for Children, Him and Her POOR OLD CRAIG SERVICE STORE Al Armengol, Owner 1019 WHITE STREET STOREROOM FOR RENT OF DUVAL AND SOUTHARD STREETS With A Modern Front On Key West's Finest Location .
