The story goes like this: Jess, Bill and “Doc” Sellers, all from} Baltimore, Md., where they work at the Martin airplane factory, the firm that built the B-26’s in the past war, and are now in commercial aviation production, have been in Key West since the early part of last week. They are guests of Jack Sellers, part own- er of the Key West Transit com- pany. Now Jack is an ardent sports fisherman, and wanted to show these northern relatives, who have never caught anything larg- er than a sunfish, what Key West has to offer in that department. The heavy winds stopped Jack from showing off one of Key West’s main attractions, but with | the cessation of the winds and the return of the smooth waters, out to the fishing grounds went} the three visitors, plus Harvey, j Lou, 6-year-old Johnny, and Jack. | It was an All-Sellers invasion. The non-Floridian Sellers were all agog, the fish were more than ornetne: mente all | pe WILL ‘QUESTION the catch, the lines became tangled at the stern, and the grouper broke the swivel and scampered away. This happen- ed Wednesday night. Thursday night at about sundown. the same seven, aboard the “Polly HI. a 27-foot boat with a 7- foot beam, went to the same spot and the same Sellers, Jess by name, hooked and landed the identical 20-pound grouper, and there was the hook and leader in its mouth. The lead- ers used by Jack contain a 1-16 inch lock, something new de- | vised by the boat's owner, and so it was unmistakably the same grouper as hooked two nights previous, The visitors will also be given another treat, this time a walk on the ocean’s bottom where the fishes can be seen and the life of the undersea viewed carefully. | The sights to be enjoyed in tropi- | cal waters are, to quote the famed | naturalist, William Beebe, “the | most inspiring in the world,” and | so maybe the vacationers will .be | so moved! | John Hollins, Jr., Arrives By Plane | Monday For Visit, John Collins, Jr. son of Mr.! and Mrs. John Collins of No. 3 Catholic Lane, arrived by plane! yesterday morning from San | VISITOR FROM SOUTH CAROLINA’ Mrs, L.
