S OC IAL ACTIVITIES Fifth Arnual Fashion Show Last Night Brilliant Affair: Colorful and stunning styles were beautifully exhibited by members of the Junior Woman's Club last night at the fifth annual Fashion Show given at the Casa Marina by the Junior and Senior Women’s Clubs for the benefit of the Public Library. Enthusiastic prvise was given Mrs. O. S. Long, director of the Show, who also dressed the models and gave an outstanding fashion revue. Curry Harris was master of ceremonies and an- nounced the name of each model, described the dress she wore and told from which store it came. The girls came down the steps through the spotlight which was at the entrance and walked down the right side of the lawn walk under the strings of colored lights and returned on the opposite side of the. walk. Gerald Pin- der--und Miss Louise Pritchard brought a bit of Spanish atmo- sphere ‘in a tango number, and Mr. Pinder topped the short pro- gram with a brilliant tap exhibi- tion. Through the courtesy of the Thomasine Beauty Shop, all the evening dress models had their hair done in the latest modes suit- able for evening wear.
