OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS OF VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF GRAND RAPIDS Grand Rapids. Minn. April, 16, 1908. An adjourned meeting of the village council was held at the council room at 8 o'clock p. m. The following members were present: President Riddell, Trustees, Hughes and Bossard and Recorder Yancey. On motion the reading of minutes of pre- vious meeting was dispensed with. On mo- tion made and carried, the action of the vil- lage council of the last preceeding year in respect to sidewalks, was sustained. On motion duly made and carried a resolu- tion was adopted ordering sidewalks to be built upon the following streets. to-wit: On the west side of Hoffman avenue from Eighth street north to Crystal lake; on the south side of 4th street from Kindred avenue east to the center of the block; on the south side of 5th street from Kindred avenue west to Hoffman avenue; the east side of Hoffman avenue fronting lots 13, 14, 15 and 16 in block 31 of Grand Rapids First division; the north side of Fourth street from Leland avenue west to Winnipeg avenue. On motion the committe on light and water was instructed to look up the matter of water meters and report at next meeting. The village engineer was instructed to measure the damage done to the property of D. J. O’ Reiley, by reason of certain excavating.
