Following members. were present: Everton, Myers, Leeman and Fuller, Chairman Rillis being absent. Com. Leeman was elected Chairman pro- tem. Greeting: Gentlemen—I hereby _ solicit at your hands the appcintment of Su- pervisor of Assessments tor the term ensuing. I am prepared to furnish your honorable body with a good and sufficient bond in any sum you may select for the faithful and impartial discharge of the duties attending the office I seek from your hands. Holman, Justice of the Peace, of tines collected by him during the month of March, was read and ordered tiled. The bond of Peter Foley, as Cons- table, in the sum of $500, with M Ponti and Anthony MeAlpise, 3 sureties, was on motion approved. On motion the treasurer was in- structed to transfer $82,01 from the contingent fund to the A.J. Dwyer judgment fund and that he procured discharge of said judgment. On motion the council proceeded to the election of a Village Attorney by ballot, with the following result: Total _uumber of votes cast 5, of which Frank F. Price received 3, and C..L. Pratt 2 / Frank EF. Price having received a majority of the votes cast w: de- clared duly elected Village Attorney. George Vient was on motion duly appointed Street Commissioner and he was instructed to assume the du- ties of; said offi op April 15th, and to be under thedirection and control of the Committee on ‘streets and Alleys.
