Mortgage Foreclosure Saie Default having been made in the condi- tions of u certain mortgage deed made, exe- cuted and delivered by Margaret Shook, as mortgagor, to Nathaniel Churchill, as mort- gugee, dated August 2nd, 1891, and recorded in the office of the register of deeds for itasca county, Minnesota, on the 22nd day of August, 1891, at 2 o'clock p.m. in Book A of 2s on page 515, Which mortgage deed, with the debt secured therevy, was ard duly assigned by said Nathaniel Churchill to Horace B. Peck ot Kalamazoo, Mich., by an instrnment in writing dated September twenty-third (23rd), 1891, and duly rded in said office of said r deeds for said Itasca county, Minnesota, on September 24th, 1s91, at 9 o'clock a.m., in Book A of mortgages on page 311; the said default consisuing in the non-payment of “the principal sum secured by said mortgoge und the interest thereon, viz: The sum of 3150.00, with interest at eight per cent, per annum according to the conditions of wo certain promissory notes mentioned and des- cribed in said mortgage deed, no part of which has been paid; and no action or pro- ceeding having been instituted either at law or in equity or otherwise to recover the debt | secured by said mortgage deed or any part thereof; and the suid mortgage deed con- taining a power of-sale which, by reason of said Gefault has become operative; And | whereas, there is claimed to be due, and is due, at the date hereof upon and under said mortgage and notes in principal and inter- est, the sum of $218.33. Now. Therefore, Notice Is Hereby Given, that by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage deed, and pursuant to the statute in such case made und provided, the said mortgage deed will be foreclosed by saleof the prem- ises descrived.in and conveyed by said mort- gage, viz: Lots twenty (20) and twenty-one (1), in block thirty-two (32), allin the First division of Grand Rapids. according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the register of deeds of said Itascacounty, Minn.. ali in the county of Itasca, Minnesota, which premises with the hereditaments and appurtenances, will be sold by. the sheriff of itasca county, Minnesota, at the front door of the court house in the village of Grand Rapids, in said county and state, onthe fifteenth (15th) day ot capac 1897, at ten o'clock in the forenoon of said, at public auction, to the highest bidder for cash, to pay said debt of two hundred eighteen dol- | lars and thirty-nine cents and interest, and | an attorney’s fee of $25.00 as stipulated in | said mortgage deed in case of foreclosure, | and the costs and disbursements allowed by aw, subject to redemption at any time within one year from date of sale, us pro- vided by law.
