Cardinal Dougherty Marks 50th Year Since Ordination Ceremonies Honoring Catholic Leader Culminate Sunday By the Associated Press. PHILADELPHIA, May 31.—Den- nis Cardinal Dougherty observed to- day the 50th anniversary of his or- dination as a priest of the Catholic Church, Native of a small Schuylkill Coun- ty anthracite town, the cardinal celebrated mass privately in the | seminary chapel at Overbrook.
