Dr. Tabler said the commission “de- sires to protect its employes from in- Jury caused by the reckless driving of automobiles past groups of workmen on the State roads.” He asked for the co-operation of all employes. He had posted a list of instructions for reporting incidents of lives being endangered. They were: “Make sure your warning signs are placed at a proper distance from the place where men are working. “Be sure to get the license number of any automobile which passes groups of workmen at a speed so unreasonable or improper as to endanger workmen. “Estimate as nearly as possible the #peed at which the car is traveling. “If possible, get the name and ad- dress of the driver of the automobile.” He asked that this information be sent to the workmen's compensation department of the commission. Dr. Tabler remarked thst “it was not possible to prosecute a recent offender because employes failed to get the license number of the automobile which caused a serious accident.” HAVE YOU A REPAIR PROBLEM?
