Garges, 85, retired livery stable proprietor, died yesterday after a long illness at his home, 3414 Que- sada street. Born in Annandale, Va.. where his grandfather settled in 1803, Mr. Garges bad been & Washington resident since childhood. He entered the livery business with his father, the late John Garges, afterward becoming proprietor of the business, which was in the 600 block of Pennsylvania avenue southeast.
