INANCIAL. LOSSES EXCEED ADVANGES ONCURB Declines of Fractions to $2 or More Remain in Slow Trading. By the Assoclated Press. NEW YORK, May 11.—Losses out- weighed gains in most active shares on the Curb Exchange today, but trading was slow. In late dealings, declines of fractions | to more than 2 points still showed in such issues as American Gas & Elec- tric. Lake Shore Mines, Brazilian Light & Traction, Newmont Mining, Pan- American Airways and Pittsburgh Plate Glass. Weakness in grains discouraged traders from playing for a rally. How- ever, yesterday's decline was followed by modest recoveries in Aluminum of America, Electric Bond & Share and United Gas.
