This is one of the most interesting sporting events in America, where some of our very best steeplechase riders learn the game. The riders are from 14 to 18 years old, many of them riding a race for the first time, and most of them go on in later years to win the best and largest steeplechases in the country. Nearly all of these boys own and train the horses they ride in the race. It was at the Junior Cross-country Steeplechase three years ago that| Dion (Mike) Kerr, jr., rode his first race, and Mike won the Carolina Cup in Camden last Saturday on Fugi- tive. There are 13 entries for the Junior Steeplechase tomorrow, most of them to be ridden by the sons of amateur jockeys we saw ride a few years back! Entries are as follows: (1) Hurray, rider, Jack Bosley, jr.; (2) Zipwich, Walter Wickes, jr.; (3) Baby Bunting, John G. Fenwick; (4) Jacknapes, no boy; (5) Miss Superior, H.
