SFERIES of important musical events will be inaugurated in the | Great Choir of Washington Cathedral | Thursday evening, at 8:30 when the famous Brahms' “Requiem” .sung by the Washington Society on the first anniversary of the burial of King George V of Eng- land. The chorus of 100 trained voices will be directed by Louis Potter, with instrumental accompaniment by mem- - bers of the National Symphony Orch- - estra and Robert G. Barrow, Cathedral | organist and choirmaster. Bishop James E. Freeman will make a brief address on “Christian Ideals for International Peace.” Invitations are being = in the name of the Cathedra.
