He was a director of the old Washington Rapid Transit Co. of this city. He was made & captain in the Air Service of the Army in 1918, later being promoted to major and serving with the general staff here. From 1917 to 1920 he was operative for the Office of Naval Intelligence. As a Reserve officer, he was made & lieu- tenant colonel last May.
