1 THE SUNDAY STAR, WASHINGTON, D. C..- DECEMBER 8, 1935—PART ONE. SETLENEN OV Archbishop Curley to Join Other Dignitaries in For- mal Dedication. A gymnasium completing the Christ Child Settlement House at 608 Mas- sachusetts avenue northeast will be formally dedicated next Sunday. Archbishop Michael J. Curley of Baltimore and other high Catholic dignitaries have been invited to at- tend. Addition of the gymnasium gives the Christ Child Society one of the most complete settlement houses in the United States. Of brick and con- crete construction, it is fireproof and is designed to withstand the hard knocks that a boys' club, one of the adjuncts of the settlement, can inflict on a building. Game Rooms in Basement. The basement floor contains game rooms for both junior and senior boys. | It also contains a training room for the boxers and wrestlers, complete with ring and mats, showers and lock- ers, dressing room, one of the most complete hgating plants obtainable, o se Bl New !
