PANAMA CITY, October 31.—The Canal Zone Federal Court sentenced yesterday three men, two of whom are American citizens, to prison terms after their convictidhs on charges of | tenced to 7'z years; Edward J. Paine, 32, 31 years, both Americans, and Alfonso Trillanes, an 18-year-old Nicaraguan, who was given a one- year sentence. The arms were stolen from the American Army post at Corozal, Canal Zone. The United States District Court decided on a general continuance in the case against Homero Ayala, for- mer chief of police of Panama, charged with complicity, becsuse he allegedly purchased the arms from Stevens in a Panama City suburb.
